PS5 users residing in Japan or Canada can use beta features by updating the PS App for iOS/Android to the latest version.

By enabling the game capture function of the PS App, captures such as screenshots and gameplay videos taken with PS5 are automatically uploaded from PS5 to SIE's cloud server. From the PS App, you can check it in the game library > capture, share it with friends and parties on the PlayStation Network, save it to your smartphone, and post it on SNS.

Conditions for uploaded captures are as follows.

In order to enable the game capture function, after linking PS5 and PS App, it is necessary to enter rest mode with "always connected to the Internet" enabled from PS5 settings. Also, captures can be used in the PS App for 14 days after they are created on PS5.
